User Interface (UI) language in QA errors
Description:
When you are a translator, and you use memoQ in your native language, e.g. German, and you run QA (Quality Assurance), then you get all your QA messages in German. To run QA: On the Preparation ribbon, click Run QA.When you use memoQ in Hungarian, then all QA messages are in Hungarian. Depending on your choosen memoQ UI language, the QA error and warning messages are displayed.
Note: memoQ is currently available in English, German, Spanish, (Canadian) French, Hungarian, and Japanese.
Now you export your file as memoQ XLIFF, and then you send this file to your project manager for this project. The project manager imports the bilingual file into the project on his computer. The project manager runs memoQ with English UI. Now the project manager opens the Resolve errors and warnings tab. The QA error and warning messages are displayed in English since he is using memoQ with English UI.
A memoQ online project is synchronized across computers that use different memoQ UI languages. Depending on the memoQ UI language you use, the QA error and warning messages are displayed.
The memoQ XLIFF files stores all the QA error and warning messages in all UI languages.
Note: If you use the QA plugin API, no changes were made. The messages, produced by your module, are not touched.
